Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation provides decent accommodation at reasonable cost in their guest houses and Maurya hotels spread over the state. Bookings could be made from their offices in Bangalore or on locations.

K.S.R.T.C. has well organised city, state and inter-state bus services. Several private travel services those run by tour operators/travel agents are also available. Chauffeur driven private cars and taxis for long distance travel are available in Bangalore, operated by KSTDC and private operators. Rent-a-car facilities with or without driver is also provided by Europecar, Dial-a-Car and other operators.

KSTDC conducts a wide range of tours from Badami House, Bangalore. Booking can be made from any of its offices at Badami house, City Train station and Airport or any other branch offices in Mysore, Hospet, Mangalore, Hubli or bangalore.
