Thiruvananthapuram > How to Reach

Church Thiruvananthapuram is a coastal city connected to the other regions of the state and country by air, rail and road.

By Air: The city has a domestic and international airport. Flights to and from Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and other centres are operated on regular intervals. Many international air carriers operate daily international flights to Middle East, Male and Sri Lanka from Thiruvananthapuram.

By Rail: Thiruvananthapuram's main railway station is the Central station located at 'Thampanoor'. It is a major railway junction of the Southern Railway. There are excellent Mail and Express train services operating to almost all major centres of the country

By Road: 'Thampanoor' is the main bus terminal in Thiruvananthapuram. All of the long distance buses leave from here. The city bus terminal is situated at Fort from where most of the city service originates. State and National Highways connect Thiruvananthapuram to all major Indian cities. KSRTC operates super fast, express and deluxe bus services to major destinations in the state as well as to the neighbouring states. Bus services from other states like Tamil Nadu and Karnataka also terminate and leave Thiruvananthapuram from Thampanoor. Buses are less expensive in comparison with train and air services.
